My name is Dan Dishman and I am an Eagle Scout from the Red Tail Hawk District. The most important task of an Eagle Scout is to give back. I choose to take these photos as a way to give back to my district. The photos primary purpose is an end of the year eagle slide show. The Silver Creek Ranch Studio
My childhood friend Rob Gandy and his roomate Justin Atwater-Taylor reside just outside Lawrence Kansas at the Silver Creek Ranch Studio. The property is secluded, large, and surrounded by wildlife. In addition to living quarters each resedent has their own studio space with room to spare. Rob gave us a tour showing us some sculpture ideas in his studio space. Below are some works from around the house. Living outside the city lights offered ideal conditions for shooting the stars.

Home Sweet Home is the title of this woodblock. As peers and I leave what was home, I wondered if we would ever find home again. Looking more broadly at our environment proves that we could never be lost and are all one in a greater sense. Home Sweet Home is a reminder that you are always Home.
